Bringing Christ Home; Make Your Reservations Soon!

“In our weakness, He is made strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9

What about this year’s spring event which we are calling: Bringing Christ Home – Family and the Supremacy of Christ scheduled for June 5-7 at the Shack. Last year at the Shack:

Last year we had a spring conference at the Shack (an extraordinary place).

Kamal Saleem, Dave Agema and Buddy Smith (Vice President of American Family Association) and some great music led by Robert Azkoul with Buddy Smith.  God touched many lives in the time that we were together.  Our mission was accomplished:  Great messages, fellowship with others, new friends, deeper insights,  a significant time of being alone to walk the beautiful area, great food.  We called the weekend emphasis “A Light in the Wilderness”.   Its emphasis was on Christian activists bringing encouragement to let your light shine before an ever darkening world.

Biblical marriage is now under hellish attack.

No matter whether you are newlyweds or a couple that has been married for a number of years like me, for example (45 years), it’s important to take time together where the bonds of unity can be strengthened.

This invitation is going out to young and older couples to join us for a time to renew, strengthen, and encourage relationships – a weekend to deepen and build what God has joined together.

I received a call asking, “Are there many rooms yet available?”

There are a number of rooms yet available but now that the initial deadline has come and gone (April 1) the Shack takes reservations from anyone who calls as they want to make sure they are filling their rooms.  So please don’t delay.  Make your reservation soon!

Another account is as follows:  One couple told me they very much would like to come, however they also especially want their married children to attend the conference with their spouses.  This couple said they would offer to watch their grandchildren for the weekend to make it possible for their children to attend, instead of them.

Each situation is different.

We  want  to help bring out young and older married couples in the midst of the growing pressures upon the family.   Can we accomplish this?   We can’t do it. But with God’s help we can.

We are trusting God to move and draw whom He will.   We have two men of God who have served as pastors and who speak God’s truth and principles having many experiences first hand and in ministry.  They know that God’s word transforms lives.

We have kept costs as low as possible. There is no charge for the conference itself.

We are trusting God for every detail of this conference.
