“They blow the Von Trapp family away,” is how one homeschool mom described Curtis Bowers, his wife, and their nine children. That’s how I feel as well; here is a very gentle, God-fearing family that walks (or should I say drives a huge bus with trailer in tow) humbly before their God. What a blessing it was to have attended all three of the events this past weekend which featured Mr. Bowers, his family, and their film, AGENDA 2: Masters of Deceit.
Curtis Bowers is the creator and producer of the Agenda films. These two films lay out the framework of how we have been transformed from a moral, liberty loving, united people into the communistic, socialist, nation that we see before us today. It lays bare the men behind it, the movements used, and explains that this metamorphosis is not by accident, but has been planned by evil men with the specific goal of America’s destruction for many, many decades. Communism is far from dead and their agenda to grind America down has unfolded just as they had planned, by attacking our freedom, our children, and our morality.
If you think documentaries are dry and boring, you’ll be delightfully surprised to watch this San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival winner (AGENDA) which will keep your interest while informing you of truths you never knew. With the use of music, quick clips from longer interviews, and actively showing the skeleton path of destruction, these films are not only educational but keep the viewer involved. These are not just gloom and doom documentaries; they end with action points for us to carry out. They tell of how God was removed from His place of authority in our nation, but Mr. Bowers continually points us back to the very God who made America great from the start.
Friday Evening the American Decency Association showed AGENDA 2, with a question and answer time with Mr. Bowers afterward. On Saturday evening, the Bowers family returned to talk specifically about godly families and to share some of their own experiences. Sunday evening they sang a couple songs at the First Baptist Church in Fremont with Curtis sharing from Psalms 33:12; “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” To this he added his family’s own personal testimony.
I attended all three events and was not disappointed in the least. Each time something new was shared and in EVERYTHING Curtis pointed people back to God, God’s Word and our duty to live in obedience to whatever God asks us to do. He spoke of God’s kindness to allow us to be part of His plan. He laid bare the efforts of the enemy to speak of our rights when it’s really our duty, a duty to vote, to bear arms, to obey the God who gives us life. They are not just rights to be picked up or laid down depending upon our fluctuating feelings; they are duties which must be performed if we are to be the men, women, and children which God expects us to be.
Sunday evening Mr. Bowers opened his message with this well-known quote from Alexis de Tocqueville, “Americais great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” The greatness and the goodness of America depend upon our willingness to obey God at every step; blessing follows obedience. Obedience is not only the key topic of Curtis’ speaking; it’s the very essence of his life. It was with much interest and conviction that I listened at each event and it would benefit each of you to contact the American Decency Association to get the resources available from this wonderful weekend.

Get the recordings of the events and be encouraged to godliness and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Pray for the Bowers family as they travel the country informing the public through the next election. Walk humbly and obediently before your God, making America great by bringing her back to God.
