A Look Ahead to This Weekend

This very weekend (June 5-7):

ADA’s “Bringing Christ Home” – Family and the Supremacy of Christ

One of our conference speakers is Bruce Kuiper President of Grace Legacy Builders in Grand Rapids, MI.  He is also a former Pastor in the Reformed Church in America.  Bruce comes as a man with a clear burden to minister into the hearts and lives of men and women.  Bruce just returned from a time of ministry in India.

We have three speakers and a special young couple Brent and Britany leading us in a time of fellowship and song on Saturday evening.

Individuals and couples,  young and old, will be here joining us as we are built up in Christ for such a time as this. 

In addition to Bruce Kuiper,  Pastor Ken Smith, the head of Biblical Counseling Center in Jenison will be presenting  "A Biblical Counselor's Burden for American Families." 

Professor William Wagner is Professor of Law and Director of the Human Rights Center at Trinity International University.  He will be speaking on “God, Marriage, and the American Constitution”.

In this presentation, Professor Wagner discusses the Judeo-Christian worldview underlying Constitutional protections for marriage between a husband and a wife. He next explains how activist courts use a different worldview in an attempt to redefine marriage.  He finishes with an overview of the arguments he made against redefining marriage to the U.S. Supreme Court (in a brief representing over 25,000 Christian churches and ministries).
