Where’s the Outrage; Where’s the Prayer?

I’d like to see some justice, at least some equality.  It seems as though liberals can say anything they want and there’s no backlash; but should a true conservative stand up and speak the truth, complainants come crawling out of the woodwork and from every corner.  They focus on the voice of the statement rather than the veracity of it.  It would seem as though Christians and those who hold traditional views aren’t allowed to speak openly today because it offends the “politically correct.”

Bear with me while I lay out the scene.

In September of 2012 President Barak Obama made the statement “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”  In reality our president was saying that the future must not belong to true born-again believers (Christians).  Between this statement and regularly ignoring “our Creator” in the Declaration of Independence and the various jabs he’s taken at Christianity over the years, where’s the outrage?  Where are those stepping up to say, “Hang on there, you can’t say that! We are Christian and there is a great place for us in the future.”?

Not too long ago New York Governor Andrew Cuomo made it clear that there’s no room for “extreme” conservatives in New York.  What’s his definition of extreme?  “Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”  Really?  There’s no room in New York for those who believe in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States?  Where’s the outrage for those who are being compelled to leave their homes because of a liberal intolerant view?

Is anyone else alarmed that we’ve been moving toward the attitudes, actions, and politics of Nazi Germany for some time now?  Keep in mind that everything the Nazis were doing was legal by the time they were taking the Jews away.

Adolf Hitler and his men made it clear that there was no room for Jews in Germany, or anyplace else for that matter.  “If only one country, for whatever reason, tolerates a Jewish family in it, that family will become the germ center for fresh sedition. If one little Jewish boy survives without any Jewish education, with no synagogue and no Hebrew school, it [Judaism] is in his soul. Even if there had never been a synagogue or a Jewish school or an Old Testament, the Jewish spirit would still exist and exert its influence. It has been there from the beginning and there is no Jew, not a single one, who does not personify it.” (Robert Wistrich, Hitler's Apocalypse, p. 122; from a conversation with Croatian Foreign Minister General Kvaternik, July 21, 1941)

As we see our children being indoctrinated by government education, as we see them being strongly influenced by television and media, we should be alarmed for their minds and souls. As we watch the twisting of truth continue more and more we shouldn’t be surprised to someday soon hear them sing with “Hitler’s children.”

“We are the joyous Hitler youth,
We do not need any Christian virtue
Our leader is our savior
The Pope and Rabbi shall be gone
We want to be pagans once again.”

– Song sung by Hitler youth

Even as the government and others spoke against Christianity in Hitler’s time, we should be highly concerned about our government’s intrusion upon the church and upon the religious symbols, traditions and truths of the Christian heritage and peoples of this nation. In essence, this is what we hear, “The Ten Commandments have lost their validity.  Conscience is a Jewish invention, it is a blemish like circumcision.”(Rauschning, Hitler Speaks, p. 220)

Does this double-standard of first amendment rights belonging only to liberals and not to conservatives bother you?  If the governor of New York had called for all Muslims or homosexuals or “extreme” liberals to leave New York most everyone would be up in arms.  If the President had said there was no future for Muslims or homosexuals we’d have heard no end of it.  But since it was directed at Christians and conservatives…well, that’s ok.

By way of proof, I give you Dave Agema.  His comments were less pointed than this; yet, he is being vilified.  He may have passed some posts along or said some things of his own which may have been offensive to homosexuals and Muslims but were they any more pointed than “You have no place in the future” or “there’s no room for you here” if you hold to traditional Judeo-Christian religion, beliefs or traditions?  I don’t think so.

A clear message must be sent to Governors, Congress and the President that these kinds of actions are not acceptable.  It’s time to bring America back to her moorings, back to a day when she was great, back to a time when we accepted the idea that “God shed His grace on thee.”  It’s time we start standing behind men and women who stand for absolute truth.

Let us pray for our leaders, vote biblically and live lives that glorify God.

In a day and age when adherence to Biblical values are often looked upon as old-fashioned and outdated at best, and as hate speech at worst, when most will shy away from taking a strong stand for what is right, Dave Agema stands for what he and what we believe is best for the nation as a whole and for families which are the building block of any country.  He continues to speak out for truth even as he is under attack by those who wish to silence him, including those within the Republican party.

We need more statesmen like Dave Agema who will stand for truth and do what is best for this nation regardless of how it affects a party or a person's re-election possibilities

For those is the West Michigan area, we urge you to join us this Friday, February 7 at 7:00 pm as American Decency hosts a true patriot, Dave Agema.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from Dave Agema and show support for his bold stand for faith and conservative principles.  We hope to see you there!
