(Video) Intimidation: TV Stations Threatened With License Loss After Unfavorable Obamacare Ad

Democrat Rep. Gary Peters is utilizing his Washington DC legal counsel to intimidate and silence Julie Boonstra, a Michigan mother battling leukemia, after she spoke out in a televised advertisement about the fact that her insurance plan was cancelled due to the Affordable Care Act.

Through his legal team, Rep. Peters, who is currently running to fill Carl Levin’s old Senate seat, demanded that stations stop running the Americans For Prosperity (AFP) testimonial ad or risk the loss of their FCC license.

A letter from Rep. Peter’s lawyers read,”For the sake of both FCC licensing requirements and the public interest, your station should immediately require AFP to provide the factual documentation for its claims if you are going to continue airing this advertising.”
