Pentagon capitulates to Sharia, allows Islamic beards, turbans and hijabs

Pamela Geller pinpoints the problem with this: “The Pentagon has forgotten what a uniform is and what it is for. A uniform is supposed to show the unity of the troops in their purpose and mission; individual differences are subordinated to the cause.” Now the door is opened to people in the military manifesting other allegiances, other priorities, other duties — which is not likely to foster unity or cohesion.
