Ken Ham vs. Bill Nye on Creation/Evolution

We have the great opportunity to bring you, through live streaming, what might be called the “Debate of the Century.”

Well known children’s scientist, Bill Nye, and Creation Museum’s founder, Ken Ham, will be having a debate at Legacy Hall (in the Creation Museum) on February 4, 2014, starting at 7pm. The topic of this debate will be “Is creation a viable model of origins in today’s modern, scientific era?”

People were so excited to see this debate that the available 900 tickets sold out in less than two minutes!  With so much interest in this topic and this debate, the Creation Museum is partnering with many organizations and schools, to show it free via live stream. We here at the American Decency Association want to be involved in getting this message out to you, so we will be live streaming the debate here. We are pleased that the Fremont OPC is co-sponsoring this event with us.

Bill Nye argues that Creationists don’t use science and that it’s criminal to teach your children from a creation point of view; while Ken Ham shows that science actually confirms the Bible.  We all have the same evidence; it really depends on your starting point.

This is sure to be both interesting and educational.

Whether you join us or watch from home please keep this event in prayer.  Here are the things Ken Ham is asking fellow believers to specifically pray for:

·         Please pray daily, between now and February 3, for the Answers in Genesis support staff and, of course, Ken Ham himself, as they prepare for this event.

·         Pray that weather does not impact the event.

·         Please also pray daily that many people are made aware of and watch the debate online.

·         On the day of the event please pray for Ken Ham and Bill Nye, that the Lord will guide this debate and use it for His glory.

·         Pray for all the support staff, that the event will be free of any issues.

·         Pray for the viewers and attendees, that God’s Word will be an encouragement for the believers and conviction for the non-believers.
