Indecency/pornography? Who cares?

I received an encouraging call recently.  It was a call from a mother of four children aged 10 and under.

Her call was because the grocery store where she shops has indecent magazines at the checkout counter.

In a culture where the vast majority are desensitized and accommodated to this world, here is a woman hungering for purity.

To make a long story short:  This godly mother was fighting a war for the purity of her children.  She does not want her children and family to have magazines featuring filthy images and words foisted before their eyes and spirits!
 

What a contrast to so many who are compromised. 

Choices matter.  Keeping yourself pure, as the Scripture tells us, matters.  Pursuing holiness matters for it matters to God and for all eternity. 

Who cares?  God cares.  Do you?

God says in His word “Pursue holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14]
