Believers ought to be exhorted to grow.

Loved ones that are intelligent when it comes to science, physics, math, economics yet are dull and foolish when it comes to truth – like What does God have to say about lust,  loving your mate, faithfulness, not being unequally yoked to unbelievers.

If words in the Bible mean anything, there is such a thing as growth, and believers ought to be exhorted to grow.  Ephesians 4:15:
"That you may grow up into Him in all things"

What does Peter say? "Desire the sincere milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2).

There is such a thing as growth and believers ought to be exhorted to grow – that your faith and love  would abound more and more in Him.
