‘Whatever It Is We’re Playing, We’re Losing’: Beck on Why Americans Need to Pay Attention to the Ukranian Conflict

Glenn Beck gave a brief history lesson of modern-day Ukraine on his television program Monday, and said whatever “game” it is that we are playing with Russia, “we’re losing.”

“[Russian President Vladimir Putin is] not afraid of us,” Beck said. “He shouldn’t be. We can’t do anything now. Putin has called the president’s bluff. He ignored his warnings. And he’s the big winner … again. Our president was caught with his pants down.”

President Obama warned Russia that military intervention in Ukraine would be a “costly proposition,” but it is unclear what consequences Russia will actually incur.
