The news is grim. Beheadings in the Middle East – and now also on American soil.
Over the weekend, one more beheading of a Western hostage by the terror group, ISIS, as another American captive is threatened to be the next victim.
This while the nation – and a woman’s family – still reels with the shock of a grandma killed in Oklahoma when a former coworker and a radicalized Islamic convert beheaded her. An attack that only our government could label as “workplace violence.”
Then last evening in a “60 Minutes” interview, FBI director James Corney warned that, in spite of U.S. bombings of supposed ISIS and Khorasan targets, a terror attack by the Khorasan Group in the United States could be imminent. Corney stated:
“Khorasan was working and may still be working on an effort to attack the United States or our allies, and looking to do it very, very soon. I can’t sit here and tell you whether their plan is tomorrow or three weeks or three months from now. Given our visibility, we know they’re serious people, bent on destruction. And so we have to act as if it’s coming tomorrow.”
This is not a time to stick our heads in the sand. Rather, it’s a time to warn and inform about this growing threat to our nation. And so we at American Decency have scheduled a very timely conference with two experts on the subject matters of radical Islamic groups and the very real threat they pose.

Patrick Poole:
Speaking on: The Threat of ISIS: At home and abroad
Patrick Poole is a counter-terrorism and national security consultant. He is an internationally recognized subject matter expert on domestic terrorism and the global jihadist movement, and he has been actively involved in and served as a consultant on numerous terrorism cases. Mr. Poole regularly briefs members of Congress and congressional staff, he has conducted lectures and training for federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, and has taught classes at the U.S. Army War College and the U.S. Air Force Staff and Command College. He is a frequent contributor on the Glenn Beck program.
Mr. Poole has also testified before the Arizona House Military Affairs and Public Safety Committee and the Arizona Senate Border Security, Federalism and States’ Sovereignty Committee on the topic of “Cross Border Terror Threats and Islamic Terror Support Networks in Arizona.”

Speaking on: The Inevitable Collision of Political Islam and the American Constitution
