Wonderfully made but vulnerable – vulnerable to sin

What we place before our eyes does impact.  Really? How earth shattering.

No it isn't.   Anyone who is honest with themselves knows that to be true.  What we place before our eyes does impact.

An ad for a juicy hamburger – or a scintillating steak. or …  fill in the blank.

The Bible tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made. God also makes it clear in His Word that as wonderfully as we are made we are vulnerable – vulnerable to sin.

Psalms 101:3a "I will place no wicked thing before our eyes."

After years of being a father and a grandfather, a husband of 43 years and  a former teacher of elementary aged children in the public schools  –   I believe America has become degraded so rapidly because we have not taught nor mentored our loved ones the difference between the profane and the holy.

Think of your own life.    Are programs like "Desperate Housewives", The New Normal, Sister Wives acceptable in your household?
