We continue with our ongoing theme: “Understanding the Times in order to Know What to Do”
Friday, September 20 at 7:00 P.M. at American Decency Association headquarters 203 E. Main Street, Fremont, MI featuring Diet Eman and Jeff Johnson.
Diet Eman. Back by popular demand: Diet (93) was a leader in the Dutch resistance during World War II who saved Jewish lives from the Nazis in her homeland of the Netherlands. Ultimately, the Nazi’s caught up with her in her heroic acts. Diet spent time in a concentration camp in the same camp as Corrie TenBoom and her sister Betsy. This passionate woman returns to us with her ever timely message. Diet was with us this last April with 190 at a matinee and 200 for her evening presentation.
She will be addressing such questions as what were some of the forewarnings that alerted the Dutch people to the realities that things were unraveling in their once peaceful land. What does she see in America today that also causes her concern? What advice does she have for us as Christians?
Jeff Johnson. Jeff is an attorney that has worked with Alliance Defense Fund (now Alliance Defending Freedom) in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is known by many in West Michigan for his tireless efforts in coordinating many call centers in a major effort to get out the Christian vote in the fall election of 2012. He has also worked very closely with Michigan Family Forum. He has spoken at many churches and presented multiple times before Tea Party groups.
Jeff comes to speak to us regarding the assault upon Biblical marriage in Michigan. Drawing from the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision of June 2013, Jeff comes well equipped and to give commentary and perspective on these concerning decisions that have serious implications for citizens of the state of Michigan as well. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He is a husband and father. Formerly from Grand Rapids, he and his family make their home in Mesa, Arizona. He also is a graduate of Arizona State University – Juris Doctor (Summa Cum Laude)
Any of us who have any awareness of Diet Eman, know that she has many admirers. She is loved and so highly regarded for her stand but also for her keen insight and burden for America. We have asked Diet to bring a limited supply of her book “Things We Couldn’t Say” and to be available for a book signing following the evening presentations.
Registration is required and will assist us in preparing for the evening. We are once again anticipating a full house. Email kimberly@americandecency.org or call 231-924-4050.
