Taqiyya! Have you ever heard of the term Taqiyya?

Taqiyya!

Taqiyya is a falsehood told to promote the cause of Islam sanctioned in the Qur'an – including lying under oath in testimony before a court, deceiving by making a distorted statement to the media such as claiming that Islam is a "religion of peace."

The State of the Union address by President Barack Obama made me think of TAQIYYA – telling falsehoods to promote the cause.

Are we being led by a president and by other high officials who can look us in the face  giving a political speech and tell us in a convincing voice things that are just simply untruths.

A strengthened economy, affordable health care for everyone,  secure borders, a
strengthened military.  Really?

Taqiyya may have Islamic roots but such deception is increasingly being practiced right before our eyes.
