Giving the “Right Wing Watch” fits!
We know we must be doing something right when the liberal website “RightWingWatch.org” takes notice of our activities. “Right Wing Watch” describes their site as “a project of People for the American Way dedicated to monitoring and exposing the activities of the right-wing movement.”
American Decency was recently targeted by “Right Wing Watch” because of our email alerts exposing the destructive messages of the television show “Glee.” Right Wing Watch dubbed us with the title of “anti-gay” because we criticized Glee’s promotion of homosexuality, deviant behavior, and depiction of illicit sexuality among teens – both heterosexual and homosexual sex.
Right Wing Watch also doesn’t like the fact that we urge advertisers to drop their sponsorship of Glee – which is a sign that advertisers are hearing from you!
So keep up the good work that is giving the “Right Wing Watch” fits!

The agenda of Right Wing Watch, posted on their website, is as follows:
“People For the American Way's Right Wing Watch is dedicated to monitoring and reporting on the activities of right-wing political organizations, in order to expose the agenda of the extreme Right. Our researchers monitor dozens of broadcasts, emails and websites, and use their expertise on right-wing movements to analyze and distill that information for the general public.
“We hope that by shedding light on the activities of right-wing organizations, we can expose the risks that their extreme and intolerant agendas present to our country. …”
Really??? What rabbit hole did we fall into that those concerned about the brainwashing of our impressionable youth by entertainment that legitimizes homosexuality and casual sex – behaviors which are not only risky and destructive, but are also immoral – that we are the extremists??
Yet to those from the radical left – moral, absolute truth is considered an extremist, intolerant concept. In their world what’s up is down and what’s right is wrong.
Which goes hand in hand with the indoctrinating themes on Glee.
The most recent episode focused on one of the Glee club members – a transsexual student named Wade, who wants to be called by the name “Unique.” This male student dresses in drag at school – wears makeup, a wig, a dress, fake breasts. He demands that those around him refer to him as a “girl” – even though his Y chromosome and male body parts indicate otherwise. One of the other glee club members refuses to do so – he won’t say that the male transsexual student is a girl. As he says: “I just can’t in good conscience call him a woman. … What’s true is true. I could put on a bunny suit and hop around school giving out chocolate eggs, but it doesn’t make me a rabbit.”
What is the reaction from the other students to this momentary logical, truth-filled statement? They are horrified at such an “intolerant” view. And this truth-telling student is shunned and rejected by his friends. It is made obvious to Glee’s viewers that such an attitude about the so-called trans-gendered, is considered “bigoted” and wrong – (according to the secular elites and the Right Wing Watch).
But never fear, the “misguided” student who spoke the truth about the transsexual student, comes to see the “error of his ways.” The episode ends with him telling the biological boy in girl’s clothing: “I made a mistake. You have a truth. And as your friend, I need to support that truth. So, you are a girl, dude.”
Notice the moral relativistic gobbly-gook. “You have a truth.” I need to support your truth. There is no right or wrong.
Unless, of course, you claim that there is such a thing as absolute truth. Then, as Right Wing Watch claims, you’re “intolerant” and an “extremist.”
