Gowdy: ‘Nothing Phony About 4 Murdered Americans,’ Obama Can ‘Look At The Autopsy Photos’

Representative Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), who serves on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, rejected President Barack Obama’s dismissal of the congressional investigations of his administration as “phony scandals,” stating that there is “nothing phony about 4 murdered Americans in Benghazi,” and that if Obama thinks there is, he should “look at the autopsy photos.”

On July 22, White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer said that Obama’s congressional critics were trying to “trump up phony scandals.” Two days later, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney referenced “pretend scandals,” and that same day, President Obama gave a speech saying, “With this endless parade of distractions and political posturing and phony scandals, Washington’s taken its eye off the ball. And I’m here to say, this needs to stop. This needs to stop.”
