Central Michigan University hosts Condom Casino Night and gives out “protections” when students win

Are there no voices of basic individual conviction in leadership positions to stop godless decision making on college campuses? 

Apparently not at Central Michigan University (CMU) in Mt. Pleasant Michigan.

I write with disgust and amazement.  Read and weep.

Central Michigan University was the latest school to host a Condom Casino Night where students traded condoms instead of chips on the poker tables as part of a sexual education event.   See the article from MailOnline

The unusual event is run by a company that travels across the country visiting college campuses and using the promise of free condoms as a way to inadvertently teach students about sexual health.

Other games- like STD Bingo- drove the point home about the dangers of unprotected sex, the use of birth control and the results when alcohol affects decision-making skills.

'It just made it really difficult to see the cards. I had to lean in until I was really close,' freshman Kelsey Lamson told Central Michigan Life.

On the company's website an unidentified spokesman said in a video that they don't 'talk about morals, we don't talk about ethics.'

Opponents to the program may take issue with the fact that the event was paid for by the school's Campus Program Board, which is funded in turn by the University.

The casino marked the end of the Program Board’s Sexual Awareness Week. Other events included The Great Porn Debate, a screening of the documentary “Let’s Talk About Sex”  and performances of “The Vagina Monologues”.

We are living in a culture now where we are inundated by indecency, pornography and obscenity in advertisements, billboards, television, computer, emails, etc..

It can and assuredly is doing far more damage than we can even begin to fathom.

Sadly, as we opened up the flood gates so long ago by allowing increasing levels of trash over the airwaves, vast numbers of Americans now not only tolerate but have found acceptable that which is detestable in the sight of a Holy, Righteous God. 

I would add to this – where are the gatekeepers?  Leaders who will “talk about morals and ethics?

When a leader has no sense of God there is no fear of God and His existence and His Sovereignty. 

Where there are no gatekeepers –

There is a (1)  tolerance of evil as there is no sense of God.  (2) there is little to no resistance to evil. (3) there is a constant access to the world’s philosophy and false concepts, (4) there is a deadening of conscience and a lose of any sense of regard or love for the Lord, (5) there is an exposure to evil – even evil people because such campuses lack  a sense of God and His standard of right and wrong therefore little to no resistance to evil.

It’s too late to stop the damage that has already been done but hearing from others may help them stop and think before endorsing and promoting fornication in the future.
