Here are a few take aways and thoughts regarding the event.

1. We are living in perilous times.  There are many clear indications that America is in decline:  economically, militarily, spiritually, morally.

2.  So many of our fellow citizens seem oblivious to the causes behind America’s decline for a wide variety of reasons, including:  (a)  they don’t want to know because it’s too painful to think about, (b) they are self-indulgent and therefore distracted by their screens, their “toys” and/or sports, (c) they are willfully blind – choosing to just ignore the facts and the truth – failing to connect the dots, (d) they are hardened by their sinful choices and just simply don’t have eyes to see, (e) they are in solid agreement with the political agenda being set by our government leadership.

Encourage, inform, exhort, stir.  In recent months, we have engaged audiences primarily in West Michigan with speakers such as Kamal Saleem (former terrorist – converted Christian, Diet Eman – World War II Christian resister – saved Jews from the Nazi – spent time in concentration camp with Corrie Ten Boom and sister Betsy.

For those in the Fenton area, I will be speaking this coming Sunday, August 11 at the Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church (10235 White Lake Rd  Fenton  48430) just off from M-23 at 6:00 P.M.   I hope those of you in the area will join me.  I’ll be speaking about the “Understanding the Times”.
