FRANKENMUTH, MI — Saginaw County Commissioner Dennis Krafft says it's great Frankenmuth will fight an organization's request to remove a 55-foot cross on city-owned land.

In July, Washington D.C.-based religious liberty watchdog group Americans United for Separation and Church and State sent a letter to Frankenmuth requesting the city remove the cross or face litigation.

The organization maintains the cross violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
