GCB is a frontal assault on the Christian!

“GCBâ€Â is a frontal assault on the Christian! Please forward this email on to your friends and family who are concerned about the increasing assault upon the Christian faith by network television. Though we don’t provide you with pictures (very seldom), we do at times give description. In the case of “GCBâ€Â you need to understand the depths by which ABC and the supportive advertisers are going to degrade/blaspheme Christians and the God who created us. Most of you do understand the magnitude of this concern as tens of thousands of you have clicked on the action link to express your indignation at ABC’s trashing of Christianity! The advertisers supporting this piece of trash are declining but some hardcore advertisers yet remain: Click here to take action. Here is a list of the advertisers that advertised Sunday night (March 18): Huggies, L'Oreal, Zyrtec D, Eggo Waffles, Target, Cadillac, T-Mobil, Royal Caribbean, Honda, Prolia, Clinique @ Macy's, Werthers Original, Dove, Olive Garden, Reebok, Kellogg Mini Wheats, Tums, Progessive Insurance, Aveeno, Hulu Plus, JC Penney, Advil Further advertiser information: During the four weeks that this show has aired.  (1) There are 91 total advertisers which have advertised once. (2) 82 have not advertised a second time.  (3) Eleven advertisers are repeaters.  (4) Those repeat advertisers despite having received your emails are: Hulu Plus, JC Penney, Target, Old Navy, AT&T, Volkswagen, Tums, L’Oreal, as well as local advertisers Menards, Charter Internet, and Art Van. In addition to the constant defamation of Christianity and God’s Word, “GCBâ€Â is replete with explicit sexual scenes and imagery as well as crude dialogue and innuendo.  This played out with the storyline of one of the women having sexual troubles with her husband.  Seeking advice, her friend tells her to “just google Holy Spirit and horny.â€ÂÂ  She then purchases “Christian self-help books for the bedroomâ€Â with titles such as “Guide to Spicy Scripture,â€ÂÂ  “Rod and Staff,â€Â and “Parting the Red Sea.â€Â She then dresses as Eve in the bedroom, urging her husband to “playâ€Â Adam, telling him: “The lady at the Bible bookstore said that Adam and Eve are the most popular Biblical characters for marital role play.  You can’t get much hotter than Adam and Eve.â€Â It is a national/societal tragedy what television has become in this once great land.  I do not say this lightly.  In kind, we urge you not to take lightly what ABC is fostering with this Christian hate program, “GCB.â€Â It is alarming to consider how many impressionable ones will come to believe that Christianity is made up of such hypocrites marked by “God talkâ€Â all the while characterized by lewdness, lustful thoughts, immodesty, and godlessness. The attacks upon people of faith come in many ways but this is perhaps the most heavy handed, mean-spirited attack upon Christ and His people on network television to date. Join with many others who will stand with us in seeing this fight through to the end when this show is discarded on the trash heap of an endless list of other shows which also never should have been produced and considered as entertainment. God help us all.
