Victoria’s Secret. Many don’t appreciate you. Here is another.

By: American Decency Staff

Many are desensitized or just tired of being against instead of for something. Meanwhile sex entrepreneur corps like Victoria’s Secret just continue to push and shove and foist eroticism day in and day out – meanwhile turning a deaf ear to those faithful voices speaking for youth and decency. Here is another voice of caring and opposition to VS insensitive profiteering. Hi,   I am so grateful that I came across your site! I've been trying for years to find a way to stop the vulgarity Victoria's secret keeps in our malls. I honestly get upset each time I have to go in the mall in my area. So many people, for so many years have gave me a terrible time with my beliefs about this. I found so much help & hope in your site! I sent the VS messages of my own like your site showed. I just can't tell you how great it feels to know that I'm not the only person in the world who believes that this obscenity should not be shown in local malls (or anywhere for that matter.) … When people hear me talk about how destroying it can be to families, women and how most women feel that they have to live up to unrealistic expectations to be considered "good" they tend to make things worse.    I just wanted to say how happy I am to have learned ways from your site to put a stop to this. I don't feel like I'm alone in this and down right crazy. I would love to have a bumper sticker to spread the word! I would also love to tell about it on my blog!   Please get back to me & I also would like to know about recent updates & such with the site.   Thank you so much, K.R. GA ======================== Does God Really Care What I Wear? **How do I live Christianly? **How do I pursue holiness in all areas of life? **What is appropriate attire? What is not? **Should the church remain quiet in addressing modesty for fear that an unbeliever would be "turned off" and away from the gospel? A resource that we believe has a very positive impact in addressing these questions, and many more, is Nancy Leigh DeMoss' booklet,  "The Look – does God really care what I wear?" She also has produced via her radio broadcasts a series of cassettes and CDs that carry the same title.
