The divine order in the house

One of the attacks upon the home has been the attack upon Biblical manhood and Biblical womanhood. I don’t believe that humans evolved from a monkey or an ape but rather were created by the Creator, God! I believe the Genesis account.  I believe the Biblical account regarding the creation of Adam and Eve.  I believe in the Biblical account regarding the fall of man in Genesis 3. I believe that the sin of Adam marks all of mankind and that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.â€Â [Romans 3:23] I believe that God provided a way of escape from sin and hell:  “eternal separation from God.â€ÂÂ  That escape is through the shed blood of Christ on the cross at Calvary. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  [Romans 10:9,10] We are now living in a time when the Bible is under such attack.   Part of this attack comes from the silence of God’s people on very important Biblical principles.  One of those is in regard to Biblical manhood and womanhood. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. [Romans 1:16] It is upon this Gospel that I desire to stand and to proclaim – for it is the power of God unto salvation! There is so much pressure upon our homes and families today.   The media diminishes manhood and womanhood.  Satan uses so many instruments to demean, degrade, confuse and destroy. What does it mean to be a man?  What does it mean to be a woman?   Don’t ask ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox TV, etc.. I’ve lived long enough now to see what happens when a family deviates from God’s plan.  It isn’t a pretty picture.  In fact, more often than not it’s an ugly degraded picture where brokenness, division, turmoil, discord, disruption, anger and sorrow too often reign. Just a few short years ago when the Promise Keepers movement was flourishing, men were filling football stadiums throughout the country to hear preachers, teachers, men’s leaders teach, instruct and challenge men to follow God’s Word and counsel in living Godly lives in Christ Jesus and in being God’s man for their wives and family. Lives were being encouraged and strengthened in the Lord for men to love their wives as Christ loves the church. This morning I saw a rare article on this very subject on twitter.  It is a great reminder of God’s plan for us as adults in this wayward, confused day. I prayerfully share it with you.  May it remind you and call you back to being a Biblical man, a Biblical woman: “According to Ephesians 5, God has ordained that the husband should be the head of the home, and He has illustrated this through the picture of Christ and the church. The husband’s headship in the home is foundational to having a Christian home. There are two reasons why this foundation is so important.
