Take action – sex shop ad in a general public publication

Sex shops are breeding grounds for sexually transmitted diseases, adultery, lewdness, lust, addiction, degradation, prostitution, womanizing, drug addiction, alcoholism …. Some newspapers allow sex shops to advertise. Even fewer allow a sex shop to place a sizable ad leaving virtually no room for imagination as to what is being advertised. Case in point: Our office received an ad received from a concerned citizen from the greater Detroit area.  The ad measures 9 x 12 inches with the headline verbiage reading “Naughty Time Noveltyâ€Â. Subtitles include statements like the following: *** Two locations to serve all your naughty needs *** When’s your naughty time? One picture includes a nearly nude woman on her back with bare buttocks and thong … The advertisement comes from sourcenewspapers.com This particular ad appeared in the Advertiser and Source. Other newspapers under its ownership include: Macomb Daily (Macomb County, greater Detroit) Daily Tribune (southeastern Oakland County) Grand Traverse Insider (Traverse City) Heritage Newspapers (Southeast Michigan) Leader and Kalkaskian (Kalkaska) Oakland Press The Morning Sun (Mt.
