Is All American Muslim a reality or unreality show?

This ministry has been monitoring television programs for quite a few years, offering commentary upon various shows and writing letters to advertisers when concerning broadcasts have been aired. (i.e. excessive sex, violence, profanity, attacks upon the family, marriage) Our efforts continue. We have been greatly troubled within the last year by The Learning Channel’s (TLC’s) “Sister Wives.â€ÂÂ  We commented when the show began, September 2010; and regularly through November of this year.  One examples of our commentary includes the following:  “We began monitoring this program and quickly saw how polygamy was positively portrayed – swaying undiscerning viewers with the sympathetic plea for acceptance from the ‘poor,’ law-breaking polygamists – depicting this aberrant lifestyle as just a ‘normal’ family. We also saw how the idea of polygamy and wife-swapping began to take root and gain acceptance as a local Grand Rapids, MI television station during the normal news hour on two occasions since last spring aired interviews with a polygamist “familyâ€Â engaged in group “marriageâ€Â – giving it positive coverage.  Ideas portrayed do have consequences. Numerous times we have contacted advertisers of TLC’s “Sister Wivesâ€Â urging them not to sponsor a program contributing to the degradation of our society – “Making Acceptable that which is Unacceptable.â€Â TLC is now at it again with “All American Muslim.â€ÂÂ  There are many regarded experts expressing great concern about Islam, Islamofascism, Jihad, terrorism.  Here are but a few:  Robert Spencer author of The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades); Pamela Geller, Andrew McCarthey author of the Grand Jihad, Joel Rosenberg author of Inside the Revolution. Just as TLC tried to make it look like all was sweet and lovely in the land of polygamy similarly they are greasing the skids of Islam.  Polygamy is not sweet and lovely and there is far more that meets the eye than that which is portrayed on TLC’s unreal “reality show.â€Â For that is what TLC is doing with “All American Muslimâ€Â – trying to show a small set of people as representing a movement that has evil intentions not only upon America but upon the world. There is so much at stake in just playing dumb or actually being dumb and silent.  There is already enough evidence in Europe and throughout the world to see the handwriting on the wall as we study radical Islam’s strategy and observe it being unfolded around the world.   Therefore we monitor this seemingly innocuous show because it is merely trying to make us dumb and dumber.    We are to accept the show and it’s one-sided portrayal of Islam at face value but that truly is unwise. We monitor the show and comment because we believe there is more than ample evidence to conclude that America is targeted! Lowe’s is being unfairly targeted which we contend is part of the strategy.  Most of you are aware of the immense pressure being put upon Lowe’s just because they chose not to advertise on “All American Muslim.â€Â Fall in line or … It’s been all over the news today:  Lowe’s yanks ads from ‘All American Muslim’; local community outraged http://detnews.com/article/20111211/METRO/112110326 California state Senator Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) told the Associated Press he would consider a legislative action if Lowe’s doesn’t apologize to Muslims and reinstate its ads.  The senator sent a letter outlining his complaints to Lowe’s CEO Robert A. Niblock.    The senator vowed to look into whether Lowe’s violated any California laws and said he would also consider drafting a senate resolution condemning the company’s action.  [FoxNews.com] Click here to express appreciation and encouragement to Lowe’s What an outrage!  Companies decide day in and day out what shows to advertise or not advertise on and are certainly free to do so. Yet, here is state senator Lieu using bully tactics and trying to exert government weight upon something it has no business sticking its nose into.  We still all stand amazed at how easily and readily our government slips and slides. Jihad at military base referred to as “work place violence.â€Â The Ft. Hood killing of 12 by Muslim Maj. Nidal Malik who started shooting and shouted  "Allahu akbar!" Which means "God is great!" in Arabic, the language of the Quran. The Defense Department referred to this Jihadist terror attack as “work place violence.â€Â Anis Shorrosh, a recent author and refugee from Muslim Middle East, thinks he has discovered Islam’s 20-point plan for conquering the United States by 2020. Due to space considerations, I offer only 7 of them at this writing: 1. Terminate America's freedom of speech by replacing it with statewide and nationwide hate-crime bills. 2. Engage the American public in dialogues, discussions, debates in colleges, universities, public libraries, radio, TV, churches and mosques on the virtues of Islam. Proclaim how it is historically another religion like Judaism and Christianity with the same monotheistic faith. 3. Yell ''foul, out-of-context, personal interpretation, hate crime, Zionist, un- American, inaccurate interpretation of the Quran'' anytime Islam is criticized or the Quran is analyzed in the public arena. 4. Form riots and demonstrations in the prison system demanding Islamic Sharia as the way of life, not America's justice system. 5. Raise interest in Islam on America’s campuses by insisting freshmen take at least one course on Islam. 6. Send intimidating messages and messengers to the outspoken individuals who are critical of Islam and seek to eliminate them by hook or crook.
