For Such a Time as This, an invitation

We are pleased to announce Gary Bauer as our featured speaker for our annual Summer Event on Friday, July 29 in Fremont, Michigan.   Our theme this year is “For Such a Time as This.â€Â For, truly, this is a time like never before in America when godly men, women, and young people are needed to rise up.  As a nation it seems we are teetering on the edge of economic and moral ruin.  Gary Bauer is one of our nation’s strongest spokesmen for clarity and truth in regard to the immense attacks on faith, family and freedom. But the left does it all the time. While conservatives are told to check their values at the schoolhouse door, the California State Senate yesterday approved a bill mandating the instruction of "gay history in social studies lessons." In a concession, senators left it up to local school districts to decide "what to include in the lessons and at what grade students would receive them." With all the problems facing the state of California, this is what the legislature is wasting its time on? Years ago, I co-authored a book with my good friend Dr. James Dobson entitled "Children At Risk." Conservatives have warned for years that this is exactly what would happen if the militant homosexual movement gained acceptance. It would not be enough to merely "tolerate" their lifestyle. It would be promoted in the schools and forced onto our children. Here we are. Unless men and women of faith get involved in the public policy debates of our time and defend our cherished values, more states will follow California's example. As Bauer states, we need men and women of faith to get involved!  The opportunities for involvement are many and diverse.  However, in these days of societal confusion and upheaval we need the encouragement, the fellowship, the exhortation and the information that Gary Bauer offers.  We encourage you to register for ADA’s summer event and join with us in this rare opportunity to hear from one of the premier voices in the pro-family movement.  Having heard Gary speak on several occasions, I’m excited to offer this opportunity for you to hear the insight he offers regarding the battles we face today. He is front and center on a broad range of national issues.  Here are just a few:  Obamacare, socialism, illegal immigration, same-sex marriage, homosexuality, abortion, Islamofascism, the need for a strengthened military, a strong advocate for our ally Israel. We proceed enthusiastically, knowing that God leads and directs.   We anticipate with excitement the opportunity of having a godly leader educating, informing, exhorting and encouraging friends and supporters of this ministry. This event is one of the most important we have ever hosted.  These are concerning times and we are privileged to have Gary Bauer to challenge and encourage us. Our music this year will be provided by Eric Horner.
