Agenda: Grinding America Down

We look around and see a country that is being pulled through the ringer. So much angst So many changes. So much uncertainty.   What has gone wrong? Here is a short sampling of a few of these changes (not in any particular order): (1) A mainstream media that does not hold politicians with a liberal agenda accountable for indiscretions, injustices, illegalities, criminality. (2) A court system that departs from the Constitution and looks elsewhere for its direction, ie. European law. (3) Church people who naively and readily are sucked into following preachers and churches that preach something other than the Gospel message of sin and salvation, Heaven and Hell, Christ alone. (4) With each passing election (especially presidential elections), lines of demarcation have become increasingly hostile between liberals and conservatives.   Polling and voting results indicate a nation that is split in its point of view regarding central things, i.e. abortion/life, socialism/capitalism, larger government/smaller government, etc.. (5) Americans elect senators and representatives only to discover in a few short years that too often their “representativesâ€Â don’t represent them in accordance with their campaign pledges and promises. (6) We find ourselves represented by a government which, despite multiple concerning fiscal indicators, continues to deepen our national debt, precipitating greater dependence on government and an increase in taxes. (7) A government that goes against the will of its people in eliminating “Don’t Ask Don’t Tellâ€Â in the military, opening the door for homosexuals to serve openly in America’s military. The above is just the tip of the iceberg. Many of you reading this are burdened and deeply concerned for the very future of our once great country.
