Food for thought regarding Islam and Islamofascism

We have been watching with great concern the onslaught of Islamofascism throughout the world with its spread into Great Britain and France.  Our awareness now is that there is a great push by this  godless force to incorporate their “religionâ€Â into America and to erode and depose our Constitution thereby replacing it with sharia law. Laughable?  Radical?  Hardly.  It’s way past time for Christians to quit hiding their heads in the sand and begin to be on high alert to this world-wide movement with major tentacles throughout the world.  Organizations like CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), Islamic charities proving to be front groups for terrorist activity, i.e. Holy Land Foundation (a Muslim Brotherhood initiative to fund Hamas; ISNA (Islamic Society of North America). Thankfully there are strong voices emerging who are speaking with knowledge and expertise and with righteous indignation against not only terrorism, but Islam. Andrew C. McCarthy “provides a harrowing account of how the global Islamist movement’s jihad involves far more than terrorist attacks, and how it has found the ideal partner in President Barack Obama, whose Islamist sympathies run deep.â€ÂÂ  I just completed reading his “The Grand Jihad (How Islam and the Left Sabotage America).â€ÂÂ  McCarthy is a former federal prosecutor.  In fact, he prosecuted the notorious “Blind Sheikhâ€Â and other jihadists for waging a terrorist war that included the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Joel C. Rosenberg has written a number of books regarding the subject of Islam, terrorism, etc. He argues in his book “Inside the Revolutionâ€Â  “there are now three movements poised to change the world forever. …â€Â I highly recommend these books.  I have heard Rosenberg speak in person at the Value Voters Summit in Washington DC in September 2009 and was impressed with his knowledge and spirituality. I have heard Andrew McCarthy a number of times in radio interviews (Sean Hannity, Mark Levin shows).  McCarthy is highly regarded and one of the great resources for understanding the underbelly of the Islamic movement;  exposing the politically correct condition of America’s media and the danger of bowing and bending to terrorism because so many are more concerned about “toleranceâ€Â than they are about the reality of the frontal attack upon Americans and our freedoms. What impact would replacing our Constitution with Sharia Law have upon Christianity?  If you don’t know the answer, you really need to. Sadly, most spiritual leaders don’t have a clue as to the threat that Islam poses to America. I  suggest that you make one of these books gifts to your pastors, elders, deacons.  Will they read it?  I don’t know.  Perhaps more importantly, I encourage you to buy a copy for yourself.  Read it  and pray that God will help you to be a lighthouse to your inner circle and that the light that you shed will spread.
