A positive response from Little Caesars and a few other messages to close out the week. A friend of this ministry sent to us a letter that he received from Little Caesars regarding a letter he sent to them urging them not to advertise on “Gossip Girlâ€Â a program airing on the cable station, CW. The letter was in regard to the November 9 episode that this ministry reported on in our November 10 email alert. Little Caesars responded in the following way: February 3, 2010 Thank you for your letter letting us know that our advertisement ran during an episode of “Gossip Girlâ€Â. I wanted to follow up and give you an update. Our agency booked the time slot and we were unaware that it ran during that particular show. We immediately contacted the agency upon receiving your letter and had them pull the spot. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention; we appreciate your input. Sincerely, Kathryn Oldham Director of Communications Little Caesars Enterprises, Inc. ADA note: We include this just to say again that your letters can and do still make a difference. We encourage you to take a moment to respond to our calls for action! ***************** Also, below are a few of the notes of interest we’ve received recently. It is always encouraging to know we are not alone in the battle! Letter 1: I thank you for your push to stop pornography. Once you dabble in it, it is difficult to stop. I am running in to people who seem to think homosexuality is not a sin. Pornography promotes homosexuality, can you send me some information on fighting the notion that homosexuality is not a sin? I believe a lot of young people are falling to the wayside, especially when we have churches saying it’s ok!! Send wisdom and information to help me fight the good fight. Thank you. Pastor J.W. ****************** Letter 2: Hello Bill, Thank you so much for continuing to stand firm on the rock of truth. Our society is being bombarded on all sides by pornography – and much of it has become so "routine" that many people have become brainwashed into thinking it is ok. TV programs, "respected" magazine covers and content, movies, celebrities, and the shockingly, immoral way that young girls and women dress – even in Church. It all makes me very sad, because if those things were so good and led to a healthy sense of self worth, WHY are so many so UNHAPPY? We are so much more than pretty faces and bodies, and the exploitation that is happening is, in my opinion, evil. As for the SI Swimsuit Issue, I could never understand why a Christian man would allow that magazine/issue to be exposed in his own home, where his children could see it. Is it the value of sports he is trying to instill in his daughters (and sons) or something altogether different? What is he really teaching his children?  People just have to take off their blinders and THINK! God bless you for all that you do, Bernadette M. ************************** Letter 3: Bill: I guess Bill O’Reilly doesn’t care. He knows he is on your website, but had belly dancers on tonight.
