… my strength is made perfect in weakness

By: American Decency Staff

Looking over the 1 hour video tape that we have prepared for our 25th anniversary dinner scheduled for this Friday night there are many photo slides, testimony and media interview clips that will be on display.  As you would expect, they evoke a lot of thoughts which widens one’s perspective.  Here are a few thoughts on this busy Tuesday morning.God is greater than it all. Despite the wickedness of man that is unfolding – nothing surprises God for He is in control. His Truth is marching on. This world is not our home. We are pilgrims in a foreign land. He sent His Comforter (to the Christian) to assure, comfort, strengthen, equip and encourage us in this fallen world that we live in. He is preparing a place in Heaven for those who have received Him as Savior and Lord. These short statements are Biblical. To this I would like to add that we “fightâ€Â out of victory for His death on the cross (for the Christian) assures us of victory beyond the grave.  “Because He lives I can face tomorrow.â€Â Anyone who has any concept of the Bible understands that America has turned its back upon God.  Still God’s calls out to His children to come and follow Him. To take up your cross and follow Him. His sheep hear His voice and they follow Him. To seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness To pursue holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. To not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind … In closing, one verse to share in closing.  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  II Corinthians 12:9 Your financial help is needed in these days more than ever.
