10 Ways Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition Disrespects Women

By: American Decency Staff

First this comment from one of our readers: I think it's time that this country grow up from adolescence to adulthood and say "Enough!" to Sports Illustrated!  Why?  Haven't we had enough with their Playboy issue (isn't that what the "swimsuit" issue is)?  It was a contrived upshot in the first place and has gotten totally out of hand, having absolutely nothing to do with sports or anything like unto it.  It is purely pornographic.  It has no place in decent society and should, if Sports Illustrated insists on recapitulating it, be ousted to the same forums that other licentious garbage is kept. I believe that if people would object, and let Sports Illustrated know that they will not stand for it, Sports Illustrated would capitulate and drop that issue, reaping the added benefit of increasing subscriptions to sports enthusiasts!  Let's stand for something and tell Sports Illustrated "No More!"
