Strong, spiritual leaders to speak September 12

Personal note:

I pay a great deal of attention to public policy today!  I believe it’s essential to understand the times so that I know what to do as a Christian husband, father, grandfather.

It’s essential in living out our daily lives!

For that reason, I signed on to bring on Coach Joe Gibbs, Ravi Zacharias, Randy Alcorn and Tony Evans to our facility.

Read these words from Joe Gibbs:

Whether it’s NASCAR, the NFL, or life, when you’re playing to win, you have a game plan. If you’re serious about winning nothing – I mean nothing – is left to chance. …

I told you earlier that you and I are playing the most important game – the game of life.  Well here’s the deal:  yes, there is a game plan, and, yes, there is a head coach — God.  …

From the questions men ask me at my speaking engagements, to the discussions I have with my friends, and even to my interactions with my grown sons – J.D. and Coy, now husbands and fathers themselves — it’s clear to me there are some common areas most of us struggle with at some time in our lives.

There are also some areas in which men are just looking for guidance, hoping to have successful relationships with their friends, wives, and kids. Maybe they feel stuck in a rut at work. Maybe they feel it is too late to change, or they’re sorry for the way they’ve acted toward their loved ones.

I’ve struggled in some of these areas myself, as you’ll see.  So when I talk about a game plan for life, I’ve got a good idea about the challenges we face.  And as you can tell from my NFL and NASCAR experiences, I’m not really one to leave anything to chance, especially something this important.   …

I’m bringing Coach Joe Gibbs and his team of “coaches” to be at our facility via simulcast.   This simulcast is in scattered locations throughout the country.  For example, in Michigan, there are only four sites hosting this simulcast.

If you are able to be available on Saturday, September 12 (9:30 am – 12:30 pm),  it would be worth your while.

To see locations where this simulcast is being presented, see:
