One of the great benefits of the church building we purchased in 2007 through God’s hand of blessing to serve as our headquarters  is the auditorium/sanctuary.  Through God’s providential plan, we have a beautiful small auditorium with theater-style seating that we have been able to use for dozens of events in the past two years.  What a wonderful opportunity to use this building for the glory of God!

The next event we will host is a simulcast conference on Saturday, September 12 entitled “Game Plan for Life”.  This conference will include several powerful and well-regarded speakers.

Joe Gibbs – three-time Super Bowl/NASCAR champion and author of “Game Plan for Life”

Randy Alcorn – best-selling author whose many books include “The Treasure Principle”

Dr. Tony Evans – senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church and chaplain of the NBA Maverick

Dr. Ravi Zacharias – International scholar and bets-selling author whose numerous books include “Can Man Live without God?”

This conference addresses the question, ‘what does it mean to win at life?’  Do we seek after power and prosperity or peace and relevance?  It will help you discover a proven set of plays that will change you on the inside – impacting every part of your life.

Match Grant Challenge —

Here are the details of this important challenge.

1. it must be new money–from someone who hasn’t given in 2008 or 2009.   Or, any amount given in 2009 which was more than what someone gave in 2008.  E.g. donor gives $400 in 2008 but cumulatively gives $1000 in 2009 by the end of the match period, we will match $600
2. we will match up to $15,000
3. the funds must be received between June 15 and September 30.
