Light in the darkness we are called to be

As Jan, my wife was reading yesterdays email alert, she asked “Have you read this?” https://americandecency.org/main.php?f=updates_new/2009/March/03.16.09

It is a tragic email reporting the promotion of homosexual ideologies at a Jesuit university, Georgetown. What Jan was referencing was not the icky stuff but the bold stand that several took. It was valuable to be reminded that God has His people standing as brilliant lights in darkness. Maybe you should look over yesterdays email too. Look for Christ’s bold messengers and be encouraged and strengthened. You and I may be tapped on the shoulder soon to do similarly in our corners. May God have our hearts and that we will be true! Also, don’t forget yesterday’s action point.

I think what gets me is this: where are people being taught that it IS their marriage and their children which God gives them as talents, which they will give an accounting for later at the day of judgment? And where will they learn that all this horrible infidelity will mark them as unworthy? They will loose terribly. Awfully. They will be cut off in heaven.
