It seems they didn’t like our anti-pornography message

By: American Decency Staff

*** Porn kings put behind bars. *** Federal prosecutors trained to investigate and prosecute pornography! We are having a man who has done the above as well as anyone in the country. I'm speaking of Pat Trueman.  Pat comes to us from the Washington DC area. He was the former Executive Director of CEOS  Child Protection and Obscenity Enforcement Section. He'll be the lead presenter this coming Friday in West Michigan (Fremont) on July 31, Friday, August 1. Friday evening: 7:15 –  "The problem of pornography" – Pat Trueman discusses how we find ourselves in the mess we are in with pornography rampant on the Internet, on cell phones, on television, in hotels and motels, etc.. 8:15 – 9:00 pm – Pat is presented with 5 questions.  One question will include:  "Is the war against pornography over?" ========= Saturday: (other speakers are also scheduled throughout the am and pm) 1:00 – The U.S. Supreme Court and the Justice Department.  With major changes at the Justice Department, Eric Holder as Attorney General and David Ogden as second in command,  what can we expect? 3:00 – Panel Discussion – Pat Trueman, Steve Ensley, Kenny Williams with Bill Johnson as moderator 4:15 –  Why is unchecked pornography so dangerous? And counsel to our audience young and old alike. To register, call – 1-888-733-2326 or email kimberly@americandecency.org I'd point you to our webpage but it seems we teed off some hackers. We are down for the moment but we'll be back up soon. It seems they didn't like our anti-pornography, pro-decency webpage so they do what pornography kind of people do – use wicked tactics to accomplish their ends. ==================================== Pat answers three basic questions starting with the following: #1 Question:  During your years of serving as head of the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Enforcement Section at Justice, name one thing that particularly stands out that you have learned about the pornography industry? ANSWER: The entire porn industry knows it is violating federal law but relies on weak prosecutors or prosecutors who don't want to see obscenity laws enforced to thrive.  A relative few well placed prosecutions would kill the porn industry. ================= Before moving into question #2 – this word from me. If you feel the urge and/or need to be here, I urge you to quit putting it off. You won't be disappointed!  Steve and Pat Trueman and Kenny Williams each bring powerful expertise and practical experience. Make your reservation by contacting Kimberly at: kimberly@americandecency.org or calling 888-733-2326 ==================================== #2 Question: Years ago you made a  statement (after leaving your post) that went something like this "The battle is over. The pornographers have won."  Did you really mean what it sounds like?  And, after even more years, "Have the pornographers won?" ANSWER: I made that statement after Bill Clinton became president and his attorney general, Janet Reno, stopped prosecution of obscenity.  Take a look around America today and you will see that pornographers have won. #3 Question: Does pornography have to be fought from the top on down as opposed to the bottom up?  Please explain. ANSWER: The best legal approach to attacking the porn industry is to have the U.S. Department of Justice prosecute the major producers and distributors of obscenity.  That means prosecute the cable/satellite companies that offer porn, the major hotels/motels that offer porn, the major web sites promoters of porn, etc. Vigilant state prosecutors should go after local pornography shops.  However, libertarians and liberals do not believe in restricting illegal pornography even though sufficient laws are on the books to eliminate trade in most material.  Thus we are awash in pornography. ====================== Match Grant Challenge — $3,600 have been raised as of yesterday.  $12,400 yet needed to reach the goal! Pornographers raise money easily through deception, playing to the weaknesses of vulnerable men, women and even children.  They appeal to the flesh. We raise money through sharing our burden, prayer, service in His name, even match challenges.  We appeal to our spiritual brothers and sisters. Here are the details of this important challenge. 1.  it must be new money–from someone who hasn't given in 2008 or 2009.   Or, any amount given in 2009 which was more than what someone gave in 2008.  E.g. donor gives $400 in 2008 but cumulatively gives $1000 in 2009 by the end of the match period, we will match $600 2.  we will match up to $15,000 3.  the funds must be received between June 15 and September 30. https://secure4.afo.net/ada/main.php?f=donate/display9 ================== American Decency Association Bill Johnson, President P.O.
