GoDaddy’s has a thing for skin – that’s readily apparent

“… It is evident from the emails that I have received that GoDaddy has significantly annoyed and damaged untold numbers. …”

June 4, 2009

Personal note:

Yesterday I shared significant concern regarding another sexually explicit GoDaddy ad appearing on their website (also a toned down TV version ad currently airing).

It is evident from the emails that I have received that GoDaddy has significantly annoyed and damaged untold numbers.

I share a few of these emails with you here.

After reading them, make sure you contact GoDaddy and let them know they are on your boycott list.

By the way, a quick view of GoDaddys website lets you know that their founder Robert Parsons has a real thing for skin.

In addition, Danica Patrick (the female race car driver) is also on GoDaddy’s marketing team. This shouldn’t come as any surprise as Danica Patrick also allowed her body to be used in the most recent Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Comments from others regarding “GoDaddy.”

Email #1:

Let me tell you a few other things about GoDaddy. The first is the most important. I had been reporting porn spam to SpamCop awhile back (my server pretty much filters all that out these days), and fully HALF the porn spam I was getting was being relayed through GoDaddy’s servers.

GoDaddy also has a reputation for posting payments late (when they were made on time) and then shutting down web sites for late payment. This even happened to someone I know. When the web sites go away, they’re gone!

But I really would dispute that they are the leading anything. Yes,
they’re big, but not THAT big.

Email #2:

Bill,

Thanks for this info and I’m really disgusted with GoDaddy’s presentation. …

As a born again believer, I want to do my part to honor God and not support anything or anyone who serves God’s enemy and godaddy’s actions while formerly edgy and always in bad taste by our perspective now they are obviously going to do their part to
edge satan into our domain name handling and that is “outta here” for me, because my God is who I serve and protect.

Email #3:

Well, I would also boycott them over their atrocious customer service
… about 30 hrs. trying unsuccessfully to install a secure
certificate, and they tell me it is my own problem! They don’t even
know about fixes that are posted on the Web for their own instructions!

Email #4:

Dear Mr. Johnson,

I had several domains earlier this year that were being managed at Go Daddy, and I decided to let them expire. I then contacted customer service and explained to them why I would no longer being doing business with Go Daddy, because I am a Christian and I was highly offended by their ads. The customer rep said he would pass along the info.

Yes, a boycott is needed and hopefully will be effective. Thank you.

For His Glory,
A.W.

Email #5:
[Taken from an email to CEO of Go Daddy – Robert Parsons

“… Your recent pornographic female motorcycle police officer ad fits the profile of sexually disordered decision makers who seek to pass their traumas onto the juvenile and adult public.

Considering the enormous growth of the sex trafficking industry, of sex addiction, and especially of child sexual abuse, I hope you are planning a public apology Chairman Parsons for those in your employ whose psychological problems have been imprinted on society. …”

Go Daddy is at it again using a pornographic ad at its Internet site (and a toned down TV version that is being aired).

Here is a short synopsis of their explicit ad.

Disclaimer. Proceed with caution.
A young lady is speeding (Danica Patrick) along the highway when she is pulled over by a female motorcycle police officer.

The officer hops off her motorcyle and says “I know you. You are a Go Daddy girl.” She continues “I’ve always wanted to be a Go Daddy Girl.” She erotically takes off her helmet.

The driver says “You seem to have what it takes.”

The “officer” responds “I definitely have what it takes.” She pulls off her jacket exposing her upper chest and belly.

The officer then strangely begins peeling off other portions of her clothing. She climbs on the hood of the car laying on her back, spreading her legs, etc..

She then prances over to a traffic control sign (speed limit 55) and performs a pole dance, etc., etc..

This company is a very large player in domain hosting. If you are one of Go Daddy’s clients, isn’t it clear that enough is enough.

ADA urges you to boycott Go Daddy and to let them know why. Today!
