Several updates

*** The case of James Bulger, the release of the two killers released by then Lady Justice Butler-Sloss (yesterday's email alert). As I indicated in yesterday's email, this tragedy occurred in England in 1993. The young men were released by Lady Justice Butler-Sloss in 2001. I had asked you to email her believing that she was yet presiding in that position. I am receiving information indicating that the email I provided you is no longer working. It appears that Lady Justice Butler-Sloss is no longer serving in that capacity. On the basis of her decision to release two young killers -that's a significant word for decency and justice. You understand that I'm not in the business of dealing in such dated information, however, the evilness of that decision in the loss of a young innocent boy – no matter where or when – is beyond date and place coupled with the fact that a horror film [Child's Play III] was linked as an influence and to find it on the shelf of a regarded food distributor elicits pain to my heart. I must not stand by and do nothing. *** Meijer DVD sales. Thanks for the numbers of you that stood with me yesterday in emailing Meijer regarding their sale of "Child's Play III." (which accompanied the story regarding the killing of three year old Jimmie Bulger – above). I have emailed the merchandiser directly and await his response. *** On another subject CONTRASTING POSITIONS Senator McCain had the following to say about the California Court's recent decision on marriage. “I welcome the news that the people of California will have the opportunity to decide on the question of the definition of marriage, rather than having that decision made by judicial fiat as the California Supreme Court asserted in their recent ruling.â€Â Senator McCain’s press spokesman added: 'John McCain supports the right of the people of California to recognize marriage as a unique institution sanctioning the union between a man and a woman, just as he did in his home state of Arizona. John McCain doesn’t believe judges should be making these decisions.'" The other side — "… the Democrat National Committee issued a proclamation celebrating 'gay pride month.' Here are some excerpts noting where the Democrats want to take the country: "Today, on behalf of Democrats across America, we join together in celebrating the contributions that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans and their families make to our society and reaffirm our Party's commitment to promoting full equality under the law for every American. "…Across the country, at every level of government, Democrats have championed sweeping protections in the areas of employment, housing, domestic partnerships and civil unions, adoption, gender identity or expression, and hate crimes. "Despite all we have accomplished, our work is not done. We need to fight efforts to write discrimination into our laws and constitutions. We need to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, pass the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act, and repeal 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.'…" “To do all of these things we need to put a Democrat in the White House, expand our majorities in Congress, and elect more Democrats at the local and state level across the country. To do that, we need you. Get active, get involved, and join us so we can take our country back.â€Â Gary Bauer reporting in an update earlier today stated: "…. There you have it, my friends. The Democrats want to gain power in order to pass a whole laundry list of 'sweeping protections' for the militant homosexual movement. They intend to side with a radical minority against the people by fighting marriage protection amendments at the state and federal level. That’s exactly what they mean when they say, 'We need to fight efforts to write discrimination into our laws and constitutions.' Their nominee is on the record advocating for the full repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, the only thing preventing every state in the union from having to recognize the homosexual 'marriages' now being performed in Massachusetts and perhaps later this month in California. That is the agenda of Barack Obama and the Democrat Party." American Decency Association Bill Johnson, President P.O.
