“First Friday of the Month Luncheon”

Today we are holding our March "First Friday of the Month Luncheon" here at ADA headquarters. We invite any and all from the area to come out for a complimentary lunch and an hour of fellowship and Christian testimony from an area Christian community leader.Today's featured speaker is Dr. Gayle Weeks. Dr. Weeks is a graduate of the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in California. Dr. Weeks has worked in the field of psychology since 1976. Dr. Weeks is a dedicated Christian whose work focuses on the overall growth and functioning of the person as they interact with their environment. His professional development and training has emphasized the importance of spiritual growth to the health of the whole person. He often helps Christian believers sort out and develop a healthy understanding of who they are and where they fit in this world. Dr. Week's presentation will begin at 12:15. In these embattled days, the vitality of our Christian faith, starting within our own hearts and lives, is essential. What a blessing it is to have committed Christians living out their lives within our local communities. Our monthly lunches are an opportunity to celebrate lives well lived. Last month we celebrated the life of Ned Hughes, CEO of Gerber Memorial Hospital, who has served in that capacity for 23 years. Ned is a vigorous, enthusiastic, energetic Christian who has committed his life and service in the name of Jesus Christ! Gerber Hospital has grown in professionalism and caring and in its ability to service tens of thousands of people over his years of service in their health care needs.
