We have just a little over 30 days to make the match challenge that was extended to us earlier in the year and then renewed also in recent months.

Because I believe that God has called me and our small staff to ministry in Christ’s name through American Decency Association, I don’t allow myself to get embarrassed that we haven’t been able to make this match grant despite laying it out multiple times.

We have thousands of you on our email list. Numbers of you have commented – some very positively. Nonetheless, here we are trying to reach our goal of $10,000 in gifts from new donors or those who haven’t given since before 2007.

We need to reach this goal of $10,000 in order to receive the match check of $10,000. It is vital that we have as much support as possible as we continue our ministry calling in the days ahead.

Please read prayerfully and carefully the details below. We welcome gifts of all sizes though I would say that 100 gifts of $50.00 would propel us to $5,000. 100 gifts of $100.00 would help us fully reach the goal.

Here are the words from our anonymous donor:

Quoting: “I will match all new (from anyone who has not given to ADA in 2007 or 2008) gifts received from June 1- August 31 up to a total of $15,000. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for all you do to uphold purity and holiness.”

This match challenge had already run for three months. Here are the results through that time frame. There were 88 gifts totaling $5,911.00.

So our anonymous donor graciously sent us a check for $6,000 and proceeded to yet challenge us again. Stating: “We will give you $6,000 now and we would like to extend the offer for an additional $10,000 for new money collected by 12/31/08. Keep up the fight…”

Those of you that follow closely know that these year end match challenges – as they are met – have been used significantly to strengthen us to start the new year on solid financial ground!!
