A public showing of a relevant movie —

Personal note:

We are acknowledging, just like most if not all Christian ministries, a significant financial shortfall. Gary Bauer’s email alert (Campaign for Working Families) is indicating that Christian ministries are noting about a 30% fall off in giving at this date.

Our giving shortfall would be similar. We are stretched and stressed at varieties of levels yet the call goes out to “preach the word – in season out of seaon”. We have a tool to do just that at such a time as this.

*** Looking ahead to New Year’s Eve

We are taking advantage of the opportunity to publically show the movie “Fireproof” this Wednesday evening right here at our headquarters – New Year’s Eve.

Two showings: 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

We purchased a special license for public showing though the DVD cannot be purchased until January 27.

We will be showing the movie free of charge and offering free child care and refreshments!

If you live in the area, we encourage you to come and bring a friend(s) with you. What a great way to close out a year!

Lastly —

We have just 2 days to make the match challenge that was extended to us earlier in the year and then renewed also in recent months.

Our match numbers are as follows as of December 29 – 1 pm
102 gifts totalling $9,653.06

We are trying to reach our goal of $10,000 in gifts from new donors or those who haven’t given since before 2007.
