Personal note:

A few comments from a few of you and our responses.
Email 1: This was written to Victoria’s Secret! Below it you will see a word from us regarding what we saw at one of our local malls yesterday.

To whom it may concern,

I have been a long time supporter of Victoria Secrets but I can’t continue if you do not change your window displays. I will have to find a new place to purchase my intimate apparel until I see a change. I know you will do the right thing.

Sincerly,
S.E.

ADA Comment:

I visited our area Rivertown Crossings Mall in Grandville, Michigan yesterday (A General Growth Property).

Here are three images with comments below them. They are toned down from years past. Am I desensitized? Yeah – probably to some degree. However, I can show you multiple displays and mannequins that are far worse than these below.

This, however, is only from our corner. Yet, it provides a reference point from one front.

Letter #2: An expression of concern regarding Wal-Mart and their sale of Maxim Calendar

Hello @ AD, I would like to speak well of the Wal-mart in Prairieville,LA. My husband and I were looking for a Star-Wars calendar for our oldest and I saw WM was selling Maxim calendars but that the company had actually covered the nude pictures.(These ladies still had material covering parts). I am going to tell Wal-mart thank you for covering those calendars. Your letter helped me to see something to be thankful!
V.K.
P.S thank you Bill you work is a blessing to me

ADA Note:

I’m thankful for this email, however, we are not pleased that Wal-Mart is selling Maxim calendars. My wife has ongoing discussions with Wal-Mart regarding this calendar. She seems to have had some success getting Wal-Mart to remove their Sports Illustrated Swimsuit calendar – at least from our local Wal-Mart. We believe one person still can and is making a difference.

Here is Wal-Mart’s address:

Email #3

Bill,
I am encouraged by your “one thing” that you took the time to resolve at the airport concerning the porn magazines being sold there. I am reminded of the saying “I can’t do everything, But…I can do something!”
Way to go.

Merry Christmas,
J.C.
