Here is a picture of a supermarket chain that has developed their own blinders for Cosmopolitan.
https://americandecency.org/main.php?f=updates_new/2007/August/8.27a.07 It’s just too easy to retreat and give in to trash at the supermarket checkout so here’s just this reminder. “You are the salt and light of the world.” Where we allow darkness to prevail, it only gets darker. Let your light shine. Here a lady from Texas asks this question. One question. One answer Question: Dear Mr. Johnson, I am discouraged that my Randall’s stores finally told me there is nothing they can (or will) do about Cosmo magazine. Do you have any more suggestions? Cosmo is everywhere and no one cares. K.C. Answer: As far as your Randall’s store, our counsel remains the same. (1) Take the magazine to the manager. Show directly what your concern is. (2) Ask them to place the magazine back in the magazine rack with others or to place blinders over it. Tell them that there are other chains that have done that and are doing that. (3) Let them know how much money you spend there on a monthly basis. Ask them, as a regular customer, doesn’t that matter to you? (4) If you can get a few others to stand with you in this, have them come forward with you in person or sign their name to a letter that you write. Bill Johnson
