Fools for Christ campaign launched —

Fools for Christ campaign – speaking up for decency where you shop. A beginning core of believers have signed up to launch out as salt and light. We do believe that we can make a difference, but we also believe that it isn’t easy. Neither will there be much progress without very real commitment over a period of time. From that standpoint, then, I guess you could say this is an experiment. Though I don’t like to look at it as an experiment, in a very real sense it is. I am not certain that we can find a group of people willing to sustain a long term effort for decency at checkouts. But, you know what? If only 50 of us, if only 40 of us , if only 30, etc. God will be glorified! And whether or not we make a big impact nationwide is ultimately not the issue, rather what matters is if we are faithful to do what we can do in our local communities. On the reverse page, you will find a little more information regarding our vision for our efforts – both singularly and as a community of believers joined together in this campaign.  With these words we mailed out our first and second bunches of membership cards and a ten minute instructional DVD. We await reports from the field. We will be reporting upon the activity of brothers and sisters in Christ standing for decency. Pray for them as we pray for them. Our campaign for decency at the checkouts — A small but significant number of you have already requested the ADA membership card and the DVD that will provide helpful hints and suggestions as to how to speak up for decency at your local checkout.
