Some Christian conservatives today are calling for a federal ban on pornography.  What most don’t realize is that there was a time, only a few decades ago, when the United States Justice Department listed fighting pornography as one of its top priorities.

Our guest for episode 15 of Finally: a Decent Podcast, was there for all of it.

Robert Peters is a lawyer who became the head of an anti-porn advocacy group, Morality in Media, in New York City.

As an attorney with 27 years of activism against the porn industry, Bob Peters knows obscenity law as well as anyone else.

In this episode, Bill and Robert review the anti-porn efforts of the 80s and 90s and ask the question, what would it take for the Justice Department to prosecute obscenity cases again?
