Michael Perkins will be speaking throughout the state of Michigan July 20-29, bringing clarity to the many confusing topics which surround the LGBTQ issues.
Who is Michael Perkins? If you’ve had the privilege to watch either of American Family Association’s latest documentaries, The God Who Speaksor In His Image, you’re already familiar with Michael; he’s the producer of these films. What at one time wouldn’t be controversial in a church setting, the authority of God’s Word and the sinfulness/brokenness of the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, is, today, very controversial, with Christians landing everywhere on the spectrum of thought, with a strong conservative stance and loose liberal leanings being the bookends of these extremely wide spectrums.
During his time traveling around Michigan, Michael will be focusing on the LGBTQ+ agenda in his many talks. Michael is a godly man who addresses these sensitive issues with Biblical soundness while showing Christian charity and compassion; after all, that is the heart of this man. He firmly believes that every person is worthy of dignity and respect as Image Bearers of God while upholding God’s design for human sexuality. The church should be leading the way in like manner. That’s why it’s so important for us to get informed and learn how to apply Biblical truth to the many contemporary situations that life uncomfortably forces upon us.
