Making Healthcare Patient-Focused Again

Health insurance is payment focused; healthcare is patient focused. That may be oversimplified—MAYBE—but when one cuts through the fluff down to the basic truths regarding health insurance vs. healthcare, that’s what you get. One is concerned about the almighty dollar while Christian healthcare is concerned about the Almighty; therefore, the creation—the person—is the main concern.

As a Christian, I would be excited to have a physician who has the same Biblical values as I do, be willing to pray with me and for me, and be more concerned about my health needs than about meeting dollar quotas and micromanaged minutes. Wouldn’t you?

Almost a year and a half ago I was introduced to a concept of truly affordable healthcare by Daniel Horowitz’s podcast called The Conservative Conscience. As I listened with great interest about significantly reduced prices of common surgeries/procedures and patient-focused healthcare at a fraction of the cost, I kept thinking, “Why can’t we have something like this near me?”

Well, guess what? WE DO!

Many often wonder, are these procedures or tests really necessary? Do I really need these medicines? Why are the costs so high? Come to the American Decency Association (203 E. Main St., Fremont, Michigan)as we host Mark Blocher and Dr. Ted Vander Kooi on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 7 PM. These godly men will share their hearts about Christian healthcare and educate those who attend on the benefits of the Christian Healthcare Centers. Bring your questions and these very knowledgeable men will bring you answers.

Some people would be skeptical, that’s easy to understand. Nonetheless, why not join us and hear about the way healthcare was meant to be. I can see you leaving here Friday night and wanting to tell others about it Saturday morning. On the day I learned about these things, I was sharing about Christian Healthcare Centers and what they had to offer that evening.

This is a NO PRESSURE presentation. Come, learn, go home to pray and think about it. You’ll be glad you did.
